Position: Body Works Gallery Volunteer
Reports to: Body Works Gallery Curator and Science Facilitators
What is Body Works?
Body Works is a permanent exhibition at Science World highlighting the normal workings of the body for visitors age 9 to adult through engaging, lively and audience-relevant exhibits. Body Works focuses on questions people ask about their bodies. These questions are addressed in four thematic areas: How Do I Look?, What’s Inside Me?, Where Did I Come From? and How Does My Body Work?
Within Body Works is The Lab Zone presented by Genome BC. In this area, selected and specially-trained volunteers will lead activities, experiments and facilitate demonstrations.
What will you do?
Lead demonstrations and hands-on activities in the Lab Zone. Such activities may include (but are not limited to):
Work closely with science facilitators

Monday to Sunday 10:00am - 1:00pm OR 1:00pm - 4:00pm
